Arlington, VA.Firefighters & EMS Fund, a grassroots political organization, featured an advertising campaign on Firehouse.com, an influential media platform that provides fire/rescue professionals with information, news, training, and community to help them do their jobs safer and more efficiently. The advertisement was featured throughout the month of July, and reached over 75,000 people nationwide.

“Firefighters & EMS Fund’s mission is to provide a grassroots voice for firefighters across the country in the state and local political process, so it was a natural partnership to join together with Firehouse.com and share our message with their readers,” said Executive Director Nile Porter.

“Firefighters & EMS personnel are facing more difficult challenges than ever before,” he continued. “It is important that these heroes know there is an organization working diligently to protect and advocate for them within the political sphere.”

The organization encourages firefighters, EMS personnel, and other first responders to join the movement at fireemsfund.wpengine.com. Firefighters & EMS Fund also welcomes and encourages friends, families, and pro-first responder citizens to join as well. “Communities need to come together to support first responders, and from the ground up, we can make real change and ensure they have all the tools and resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively,” Mr. Porter concluded.

The organization plans to continue partnering with other organizations and media outlets to reach their grassroots supporters and amplify their message. This year is particularly important to the organization because it is a critical election year and due to circumstances like wildfires and coronavirus, first responders are facing an increase in staffing and budget shortages.

Firefighters & EMS Fund is a national political organization organized under Section 527 of the IRS Tax Code. Contributions made to Firefighters & EMS Fund are not tax-deductible. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
